4-H Building: Local engagement

I am pleased to share that Brad Rugg and Nancy Hegland are partnering to support a local grassroots engagement effort in support of the 4-H Building campaign. This temporary assignment is designed to ensure that every 4-H family, club, and local program feels connected to and valued as part of this important initiative. They will be reaching out to YD staff soon.

You may recall that I shared 4-H Building campaign resources in April. For your convenience, here is a link to that article as we expand our efforts across the state.

YD assistant dean update

After careful consideration of department priorities, organizational needs, and available resources, we have decided not to move forward with filling the assistant dean position at this time. As a result, the search will conclude without an appointment. We anticipate revisiting the position and our department priorities in the future.

We appreciate the efforts of the search committee and everyone who participated in the process. Special thanks to Dr. Kate Walker for chairing the committee; Becky Harrington, Sashanna O'Shea and Dr. Mary Marczak for serving as committee members; and Kelly Campbell and Tami Jauert for their guidance and support throughout the HR process.
